We normally sail with three onboard, and presently we launch the spinny from the bow. I saw that the recommended way is to launch from the hatch, with the bow man hoisting from mast, we trying to find out how this is set up. I remember seeing a diagram somewhere on the sonata website, but it seems to be gone. Can anyone point me in the right direction to this link.
I think we could probably work out the layout for the sheets and bag, but we are unsure as to whether this system would work with only three people. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

You’ll find the article on hoisting the spinnaker in the ‘Hints and Tips’ section of the web site. It’s written for a crew of four so you’ll have to do some re-thinking with three – or better still find a fourth person – it generally helps to have a bit more weight on board anyway.
