Can anybody please tell me what length the spreaders should be on a standard Proctor mast?
Having spent the whole of last summer going to windward like a ruptured duck I have realised that the mast was about 3 inches too far back which probably accounts for the evil weather helm and inability to depower the rig. The boat has obviously never been set up properly. I am now suspicious about everything. Spreader length is not mentioned in Goachers tuning tips but to me would appear an important factor in geting the best out of the boat.
Thanks,
Bob Davis

Thanks Peter. I thought I had read the rules thoroughly.
First class that I have known where the spreader length is tightly controlled.
