Relationship to Astralian Sonata’s

I am an Aussie in the land of Oz and noticed a link to the UK Sonata site below a link to the Victorian (Australia) Sonata site.

The Sonata 7 design from both countries looks very close, so I was wondering if there was any design link between the two?
