Looking to buy new outboard. Would appreciate advice on best outboard, minimum power etc. Want to keep weight down. Has anyone used the Totahsu 3.5hp?

We had a Tohatsu on Pied Piper. It was a great little engine. Lighter than the Yamaha we had before but not noticeably slower. Only problem is it’s very difficult to fit a separate fuel tank.
