Now that we are in the new millienium i would like to here peoples thoughts on introducing mylar and possibly kevlar into mainsails, this would dramaticaly enhance the look of any sonata, and i believe would also reduce wieght aloft as well as improving sail life. Anybody or any fleet captains that may have any feed back on this debate please post their messages. May be Steve Goacher could give us a professional view on the facts and figures and costs.
