Would it be possible for somebody to send me a picture of an IYE goose neck, I currently dont have any of that connection. I no its a sliding neck designed for the track in the mast but that about it.

Thanks Tom V

On Trevor’s boat (SpinOff) we had a stainless bracket made up which riveted to the sides of the mast and accepted a selden/proctor gooseneck. We did this because the track where the gooseneck fitted had opened up a few times and on a windy day would become detached. We lost the mast early this year and it was just replaced by Phil Evans – it might be worth contacting him to see if he still has it as the rivets could be drilled out quite easily. We always said the mast would go before the new gooseneck and were proved right!!

Hi Nick,

Thanks but I managed 2 get hold of and old quarter tonner mast which had a goose neck similar to a IYE’s one so i’m happy to just adapt that slightly.

Thanks anyway

Tom V
