IRC handicap | Sonata Sailing

Hi, does anyone out there know the current IRC for the fixed keel Sonata, I am thinking of getting one for my local racing but would like to work out the potential gains before committing myself. thanks.

Hi there,

IRC for a One Design Compliant Sonata is 0.824, I also have a certificate for short handed racing using the #2 as the largest Genoa which gives a rating of 0.810, this 2nd rating may vary with the exact dimensions of your sail as unlike the rating for the One Design Compliant Sonata I had to measure the #2.
