Houdini C50 latch blocks

23rd March 2003

My Houdini c50 hatch is in perfect condition but the latch blocks reqire replacing. They are plastic blocks 25×12.5×9.5 mm fitting in the fwd. groove and bevelled on the aft face. The latches engage on the bevels and tighten down the hatch seal. Houdini are no longer able to supply. Does anyone know of a source or alternative method of replacing them. Many thanks james Dewson.

Try contacting a aluminium or PVC window manufacturer. They should be able to supply you with a nylon block that is used for the same purpose on a window.
