Windermere Winter Series Report

Seven Sonatas are taking part in the 2023 IRC GBR Inland Championships on Lake Windermere. This event is organised by the Windermere Cruising Associated and runs over 8 Sundays between November and March. It brings together a very friendly and competitive fleet from across the North West of England. The Sonatas join a mixed IRC fleet with 17 entries. After 12 races the results are as follows:

2nd Frankie the Rhino, 3rd Aquila, 4th Old School, 7th Alchemy, 8th Flashpoint, 11th Not Another One, 14th Off Quay.

Three race days remain.
This will be followed by the 2024 Windermere One Design Championships (aka the Sonata Inland Championship) on 16th/17th March 2024 which will draw to a close the winter season on Windermere. Notice of Race and Entry form available on the WCA website.
